Art 4 Life

Description

Art 4 Life is a four week art exhibition that includes activities, events and performances that are geared to children and families. This exhibition showcases more than twenty local and international visual artists who were challenged with creating works that would inspire and engage young people and raise opportunities for participation, discussion and art appreciation. The benefits of an arts education affect every area of life and we want it to be a lifelong journey.

Meet the artists and join us for art activities, performances and refreshments.
• She Began to Cross the Sky – A Rebel Haunt Theatre Performance $5.25 (up to 14yrs) $12.60 (15+yrs)
This is a charming tale about young Josette and her magical journey on a high wire across the heavens. Setting forth to explore the heavens, she finds herself transformed into a little bird who must use her wits and courage to change the cosmos.

Calling all pumpkin carvers, ghouls and goblins! Wear costumes for the parade, spooky treats and pumpkin carving contest. (Pumpkins also by donation) Registration required.
• Open House Sat. Oct. 24th 11am-2pm FREE
Art and music demonstrations, workshops and activities. Meet our fantastic instructors and peek inside the studios. Special event in the gallery – a reading of Grow Watermelon Grow by the author and artist Charlotte Noruzi from New York.
