Artist Call: Rhythm of Horses

Description

Horses have connected to people historically and today for many purposes. Thier stride, stance, dance, jumping, work ethic and connectin to people is remarkable. How can the artist show, through a chosen 2-D medium, the feeling and connection to horses in play, dance, work, competition and the ways they are used for therapy. Exhibition dates Aug 2 – Sept 12.

Deadline is Monday July 16th.

Details: Application is free, but artists must be members of the Langley Arts Council to participate in this exhibition. Visit www.langleyarts.ca/membership to learn about the perks and to purchase yours for a nominal yearly fee. All submissions must be wired and ready to hang. Only work that can be hung on a wall can currently be accomodated. Limit 3 submissions per application.
