Call for Artists: The 2nd Annual Victoria Art Now

Description

The Community Arts Council of Greater Victoria is pleased to host The 2nd Annual Art Victoria Now Exhibition. It will be held in Victoria’s Atrium building located at 800 Yates Street from May 13 – May 23. This is a high-standard juried exhibition open to artists that reside in Victoria, Sooke, Saanich, Sidney and the Westshore.

The first Art Now exhibition in 2015 was a resounding success featuring artists of varied mediums and expertise. Held in the architecturally stunning Atrium building, Art Now integrates works of art into a functional space transforming the building into an impressive gallery.

With works from a multitude of artists working in a variety of mediums, 2016’s show is turning out to be one of the finest exhibitions this city has seen. Jurors for this event include Martin Segger (Professor Emeritus UVic), Shawn Shepherd (Polychrome Gallery), Peter Such (President Victoria College of Art) and a surprise Juror to be announced later

The Community Arts Council of Greater Victoria has encouraged and celebrated arts since 1968. CACGV is a registered charity.
