Call for Proposals: Ceramics Wheel and Hand Building Instructors (ongoing)

Call for Ceramics Wheel and Hand Building Instructors

The Port Moody Arts Centre is seeking proposals from creative and experimental contract Ceramic Arts Instructors to instruct hand building and/or wheel programs for children and/or adults.

The successful ceramics instructor(s) brings a high level of skill with fresh and new ideas that are not currently being offered at the Centre, including technical workshops and classes for adults, and fun birthday parties and kids’ classes. Instructors should be open to ideas and provide new projects to keep things interesting and our returning students engaged.

Applicants must have a degree and/or comparable training, teaching experience, plus the proven ability to design, plan and deliver ceramic arts programs.

All Contractors working at the Port Moody Arts Centre are required to complete a Criminal Record Check, renewable every five years; unfortunately, the Centre is unable to compensate for costs incurred.

Interested Ceramic Arts Instructors should forward their proposals including their biography, CV and references, web links, and three images of their work.

Interviews and meetings by appointment only, please; no phone calls.
