Call for Submissions for Exhibitions in 2018-2019

Call for Submissions! Smithers Art Gallery is now inviting artists and curators to submit proposals for the 2018-2019 exhibition year!

We welcome applications for solo shows and joint/group shows (thematic or non-thematic) in all media. Exhibitions change every 5-6 weeks.

To apply, download the application pack from www.smithersart.org or pick one up from the Gallery. Full details are provided in the Application Pack – if you have any other questions which aren’t answered there please feel welcome to call the Gallery.

The deadline for receipt of applications is October 31, 2017.

Submissions are juried by an independent selection committee comprised of artists and art lovers from the community and headed by the Gallery’s Art Director.

Artists will be notified of the outcome of their applications by email by December 15, 2017.

Note for previously exhibited artists: in order to ensure an interesting and varied schedule, the Gallery will exhibit an artist in a solo show (Full Gallery or Main Gallery space) not more frequently than once every 3 years.
