Call to Artisans – Summer Arts Festival

Are you interested in participating? Last year we completely booked the event with no extra space available. If you are interested in participating in 2016 book early!

We are NOW accepting applications.

This is a juried show so we need to see images of your work. You can email us photos or links to websites or blogs. Once you have sent in a application form, jury fee and we have viewed your work we will get back to you and let you know if you are now on the waiting list.

*Please note that all items must be handmade by the applicant. We will not accept vendors who are consultants for other companies.

2016 Cost Breakdown

Jury Fee – $5

$60 – BAC Member Booth Rental (with 6′ table, sharing with another artisan)

$85 – Non Member Booth Rental (with 6′ table, sharing with another artisan)

$85 – Artisan Supplying Tent (comes with 1 (one) 6′ table, space is 100% utilized by artisan)

The dimensions of the table allocated is 6’
The Event is outdoors. 2 (two) artisans will be assigned to 1 (one) 10×10 tent.
Vendors have the option of supplying their own 10 x 10 tent to utilize all the tent space. The cost is $75.00 to participate.

We reserve the right to place you where we think will work for the entire event. We take into consideration your craft, space requirement or location of other similar vendors.

WE CANNOT PROVIDE ELECTRICITY.

** SET-UP: Vendors are asked to arrive no earlier than 8 am on Saturday August 13th to allow the Coordinator to prepare the venue for set-up.

** RAIN/SHINE: The BAC are renting tables/tents. The event will occur rain or shine. No refunds will be provided if you do not show up

Checklist:

I have carefully read the BAC SUMMER FESTIVAL Contract & signed the application form.
We are accepting cash or cheque payable to the Burnaby Arts Council for $85 non-members or $60 BAC members (plus the $5 jury fee for both Non-Member and BAC Members). The non-member price includes a BAC membership valid until December 31, 2016.

If you are supplying your own tent the cost to participate in the event is $85.00. Price is the same for members or non-members.

Must be landscape in high quality resolution sent to the office by June 30, 2016
