Please join the Surrey Arts Council and Leah Murray at the Exhibition Reception for

Cascadia: A Juried Exhibition of West Coast Flora and Fauna

presented as a companion exhibit to the National Gallery of Canada travelling exhibition Flora and Fauna: 400 Years of Artists Inspired by Nature.

Artists from the Greater Vancouver and the Fraser Valley share new work that responds to the biological diversity and ecology of the west coast region. Artworks in all 2-dimensional media range from representations of the unique regional species of plant and animal life, depictions of the human impact on the environment or celebration of the wonders of nature and the landscape of the Pacific Northwest.

Saturday, September 20 – 7:30 9:00 PM at the Surrey Arts Centre, 13750 – 88 Avenue, Surrey in the Bear Creek Park.
