Christine Allan wins award in Italy

The Biennale 2013 was a huge success! The exhibition had thousands of visitors and the exhibition was received very favourably by the public and the critics. The Mayor of Chianciano Terme, Prof. Gabriella Ferranti, stated that the Biennale has become the most important event in Chianciano and is an international beacon for Chianciano. 120 artists out of over 2000 worldwide were chosen for the event. Christine was very excited to be a part of the event and brought home an Award of Merit. “The Biennale and the people who put on the event were amazing. It was wonderful to meet so many talented artists from around the world and we hope to meet each other again.”
As a result of participating in the Biennale, Christine will now be able to participate in the London Biennale which will take place in 2015 and has received invitations to exhibit in New York City and Rome.
After returning home, Christine headed off to Toronto to be part of another international art exhibit at Studio Vogue Gallery, which runs till Oct. 26.
