One-week special show and silent auction

September 13-16, 2016

Opening reception & final bidding: Friday September 16, 7-9pm

This one-week exhibition is the fruit of a painting challenge that has been percolating as an idea between Dave and Leif for some time: each artist had to come up with five different subject matters for the other to paint, with an added twist that they also had to paint their own as well as the other’s challenges. Each artist has been working individually, creating their own interpretations of each subject, and won’t see each other’s work until the show is hung.

All of the works are for sale by silent auction only. Absentee bidding is available for people out of town – more info and application forms at www.smithersart.org or contact the Gallery on info@smithersart.org.

Please join us for final bidding at the opening reception on Friday September 16, 7-9pm. Both artists will be in attendance, and delicious appetizers will.be provided. As always, admission is free and everyone is welcome!
