Hammer Cut Stitch Repeat at Circle Craft Gallery

Einstein’s definition of insanity is “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”. In Hammer Cut Stitch Repeat, an exhibition opening at Circle Craft Gallery on September 8th, 2016 a group of artists will test this theory. The show brings together a group of artists who all use repetition as a main component of their work. Featuring the work of:

Rachael Ashe – hand cut paper installation and wearable sculpture.
Nell Burns – lamp and neckpieces made out of embroidery stitches
Su Foster – hand engraved brooches
Patsy Kolesar – enameled jewellery
Simone Richmond – etched and hand stitched jewellery

It opens at Circle Craft Gallery in the Net Loft on Granville Island on Thursday September 8th 2016, 6-8pm, with all artists in attendance. The show runs until October 11th, 2016.
