With a lifelong commitment to creative work, Redwood is a full-time professional artist and also works as an art educator. Currently with her own studio in Xchanges Studios, she has exhibited widely in Europe and Canada with this being her 4th solo exhibition in Victoria.

The series ‘Energetic Universe’ continues her theme of the seen and unseen energies of movement and dynamism. Whether painting landscape or figurative work, the mechanics of quantum physics guide her work. Using initial sketches in chalk pastels, Redwood artwork vibrates with dynamic movement to connect to the very essence of a scene.

‘The idea that everything, even the most solid objects are full of pulsating vibrant energy at a basic level … that all life is connected by this energy … this was an amazing discovery. In my artwork I use streams of paint to
reveal the unseen energies. I paint an alternate view of reality, where instead of forms and objects governing my vision, the energetic world is in focus.’

This solo exhibition features 14 large canvases including her latest work for 2018. All paintings are original and unique with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist. Immediate Delivery with Payment Plan.
