Leigh Square Community Arts Village 2017 Exhibition Opportunities

The Leigh Square Community Arts Village has opportunities for visual artists and emerging curators to submit exhibition proposals for 2017. Leigh Square hosts exhibitions of work by emerging/mid-career/established artists and regional/international work on a regular basis in its gallery and display spaces. Artists working in all mediums welcome – 2D and 3D work. Also includes partnerships with non-profits or artists co-ops looking for space to showcase emerging talent and group shows. We look forward to proposals inspired by Port Coquitlam’s heritage, geography, people, social and economic development and future possibilities. Priority will be given to work that addresses community issues, relevant topics and/or involves community development. Leigh Square offers honorariums to support artists in a community driven space. Deadline is September 1st 2016.
