Life-Drawing Sessions

Description

Life-Drawing and Still-Life sessions presented at Avant Garde Artist Studios. We are conveniently located at 2946-272 st Aldergrove in a converted Church just a block from the Fraser Highway.

Our aim is to provide a welcoming space for Artists to study, learn and grow.
**Solitary pursuit is as welcomed as active interaction**

Join us in our unique space for observational and expressive figure and still-life drawing/painting. Relax with a coffee or tea as you peruse a book from our lending library or view works by various BC Artists. Meet others with similar interests or simply enjoy the ambience without feeling the need to engage.

These non-instructional sessions will be presented starting Sept 10 Sundays from 11:00-2:00 pm and Wednesdays from 4:30-7:30 pm

Artist and Sandwich-board easels are provided. In addition we provide Art Boards and clips. If, in your excitement, you forget your supplies we have newsprint and charcoal available for a small fee.

Still-life arrangements from basic to advanced will be set up weekly. Props, tables and lighting also available so you can set up your own. Just bring your medium of choice and practice, practice, practice!

Life-Drawing fee for members: $12.00 (Sold in booklet of 4 sessions)
Drop-in fee for Life-drawing: $15.00 (Sold in booklet of 4 sessions)
Still-life set-ups for members $5.00
Drop-in Still-life set-ups for non-members $6.00
Membership (yearly) $30.00
