Looking to be in a Community Gallery? Everyone is Welcome to Submit a 6×6 Wood Panel themed Expressions of Color

Description

The 6×6 Auction is a fun community exhibition and fundraiser. Everyone in the community, from beginner artists to experts (and everyone in between), is invited to take part. Simply create a 6″x6″-sized work of art and donate it to the Smithers Art Gallery to be sold by silent auction! Good Karma will arrive soon after.

Blank 6″x6″ wood cradle panels are available at Opus or artists can make their own out of any material.

You can put in as many 6x6s as you like! Finished artwork can be dropped off or mailed to the Gallery at any time, but the final deadline for submission of artwork is 4pm, October 6, 2018.

1. The finished artwork must measure 6″x6″ and be ready to hang (we can hang cradle panels directly from the frame but everything else should have hanging wire/hooks).

2. It must be signed on the BACK only – the auction is anonymous, this adds fun and intrigue for bidders trying to guess the artist!

3. You can use any medium, style, or material.
