Registration Deadline| Fri, Jan 12, 2018
The North Shore Art Crawl is a free community arts event that celebrates the creative energy of our local artists and enables cultural vitality. The objective is to feature artists in approachable and accessible art venues that encourage the community to connect and celebrate expression and diversity. We engage, inspire, and transform the North Shore through inclusive alliances among artists and the community.
Registration is open to artists who live and/or work on the North Shore, including the geographic area from Deep Cove to Lions Bay. Galleries, community centres, and artist collectives are also encouraged to register.
Registration fees:
$75 for NVCAC members
$100 for non members
All registration information and submission forms can be accessed here:
If you are registering as a group, gallery or collective, 1 registration fee will pay for 1 online profile and 1 listing in the printed brochure. If individual artists within the group would like to be profiled with a listing in the printed brochure they would need to register as an artist, specifying the location.
For example:
Baroque Artist Collective at 2351 Sunny Road, North Vancouver
register. The will have an online profile and a listing in the printed brochure, including 1 image.
The group is a member of the NVCAC, so pays $75 for registration.
Artemisia Gentileschi, a member of the group, decides that she would like to have her own online profile and listing in the brochure.
She is not a member of the NVCAC, so she pays $100 for registration.
When Artemisia registers she specifies her location as 235 Sunny Road, with the Baroque Artist Collective. That way her listing appears in the printed brochure under the Baroque Artist Collective.
Other members of the collective may or may not decide to register individually.
Please note: NVCAC group member benefits do not extend to individual members of the group (which is why, in the example above, Artemisia needed to register individually to have her own profile and listing.)
