We are thrilled to have a collection of Carnival Band co-founder, Ross Barrett’s drawings and paintings in the gallery this month. Joyful, exuberant and bursting with rhythm, Ross’s expressive imagery makes you want to dance to the music.

Ross Raymond Barrett, a career musician, has been drawing since his earliest memory. His inspiration – as evidenced from his art – is drawn from his desire for self-expression; his spiritual temperament; his love of life; and his dedication to music (tenor saxophonist, pianist, flutist and composer). He is an avid seeker of love, art, music and truth. Ross’s approach to drawing is charmingly simplistic and allegorical – appealing to a universal appetite for beauty. – Ross Barrett
