Description

Arcadia is a glimpse into the ever-expanding creative world of Vancouver based artist Mat Holmstrom.

The theme of Arcadia refers to a vision of bountiful natural splendor and harmony. This unique collection presents works on canvas, paper, panel, pottery, and sculpture. A rich color palette and the integration of metallic paint stimulates a unique viewing experience in a variety of lighting situations.

Holmstrom was born in Banff and grew up in Beaumont, Alberta. He studied at the Alberta College of Art & Design and MacEwan University. His work is in private collections across Canada.
