Come witness the works of Kitimat artist Alex Mikhailau (“The Subtle Beauty of Kitimat”) and Terrace artist Cara Purita (“Sweet Offerings”) in their Smithers Art Gallery debut. Alex has a variety of striking impressionist inspired pieces that come to life on our walls in the main gallery. Cara’s exhibition resides in our mini gallery, where she has created a space of vibrant colours representing feminist ideas in unconvential ways. These two shows, although quite different in content, are sure to brighten your day and satisfy your inner art cravings.
