You’re invited! This year’s WAM! promotes all of the arts disciplines including culinary arts, and features the finest food and libations. The vibrant atmosphere supports creativity and celebrates our region’s award-winning wineries, restaurants, artists, and dynamic musicians, all within the unique setting of the Rotary Centre for the Arts.

Here are some of our ARTS and MUSIC highlights for WAM!, followed in June by a setting of the food and beverage CULINARY stage…stay tuned for all details released Jun 9th on a responsive social interactive platform being created by Kelowna Now!!

EMCEE: Toby Tannas of Global Okanagan will be introducing such acts as :

KINSHIRA PERFORMANCE TROUPE specializes in fire and glow arts, as well as theatrical character entertainment, including stilt walkers. They’ll be lighting up the BLACK LIGHT LOUNGE with magnificent LED props!
THE PINK LOUNGE is your chance to enjoy the sounds of European cafés with SUSAN ATHENA SEEL, who held the Canadian Youth Accordion Championship title for three years.

THE TRIPS have been hailed as the ‘Band of the Summer’ in the Okanagan for good reason – they love to rip it up and have fun with an audience. This nouveau Bluegrass band includes Graham Ord (Guitar/Mandolin/Vocals); Jesse Padgett (Banjo/Vocals); Shamma Sabir (Fiddle/Vocals); Josh Smith (Vocals /”Elvis the Bass”).

‘TRIPLE THREAT’ HALFTIME SHOW: featuring dancers by LUKI DANCE PRODUCTIONS. Owner Lucy Hazelwood is visionary in her movement, flow and discipline and will breathe life into a choreographed performance incorporating dance, music and art.
