The Abby Arts Collective is a contemporary visual arts studio in Abbotsford BC. The space is capable of housing the practice of 9-18 artists of varying practices. AAC welcomed it’s first three artists this last month and are very excited about adding to that growing community.
There are 9 spaces available, each space includes designated storage and shelf space in the studio and a designated desk and locker in the office area. Each space can be rented by an individual for $250/month on a 6 month lease or can be rented by a pair of artists splitting the costs and designated spaces between them.
The studio boasts 1800sqr feet with 11 ft ceilings and dynamic lighting. We also have a vaulted area that rises up to 20ft for larger projects, with a large 12 ft bay door for access. It is our goal that the size of the space should never be a hindrance on your art practice.
The studio is open concept with an emphasis on sharing, community, and collaboration. We encourage artists to work with and around each other pursuing a passionate and productive studio environment. Located on acreage in East Abbotsford, this space offers a natural escape and quiet studio setting.
