Curious about working with bold, vibrant alcohol inks or adding some gloss to a finished piece with resin? Both mediums work in surprising ways! In this demonstration we will blend the two together and discuss the process, products and preparation needed to make your art experience a success.
Jessie Somers is an artist living and working in Port Coquitlam, BC. Since graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UFV in 2010, Jessie has pursued art making professionally with a focus on the mediums of watercolour and alcohol inks. Jessie has exhibited her work widely throughout the Fraser Valley, growing up in Mission, BC. Being drawn to natural, earthy themes, she explores our sense of self in the atmosphere, West Coast wildlife, spirituality and environmental awareness.
