Alcohol Inks on Black Class

Alcohol Inks are beautiful and vibrant but also transparent. So painting with them on black surfaces needs some creative solutions. Learn three ways to do so in this fun and eye-opening class (one technique looks like stained glass!).

3 colours of alcohol inks (non-metallic) plus one bottle of white alcohol ink
black opaque acrylic paint
1 piece Yupo paper 8.5 x 11
4-5 pieces clear Acetate or plastic transparencies 8.5 x 11 inches or larger
1 black or dark coloured smooth ceramic tile 4x4 inches or larger
1 flat 1/2-1 inch paint brush
exacto knife and cutting mat
small paint brushes in different shapes other than flat (optional)
