Steve will be creating a portrait in alla prima (wet-into-wet technique). He will show how to set up the painting with a brown drawing, followed by mixing skin tones with a full palette of colours. He will talk about the importance of half tones and following a warm-cool-warm process.

Steve Williams is a Vancouver based artist and co-founder of Canvas Method.
