An Introduction to Neurographic Art: Culture Days Event
October 03, 2020
$Free
Description
As part of Culture Days and the Kaleidoscope Arts Festival, Place des Arts is holding 30-minute guided art sessions for youth (16+) and adults. This activity, created by artist Tami Murray Cline, combines line drawing with colour exploration that embraces imperfection and emphasizes connections and intersections on the paper surface. Neurographic Art is based on two words: neuron: the cells that carry messages from the brain to the body and connects thought into action, and graphic: the artistic use of picture shapes and words. While participating in this class, harpist Rebecca Blair will be performing which highlights this year’s theme of ‘Unexpected Intersections.’ Discover and experience the arts within your community!
