Animals in Watercolours with Tombow and Brett

April 15, 2021

Description

When: April 15th @ 11am

Creating Realistic Animals in Watercolours with Tombow Materials and Brett Brumenthal

Join Brett Blumenthal as she demonstrates illustrating realistic animals using Tombow’s wonderful materials. Brett will first kick off the class with a brief presentation of the products she’ll be using and how Dual Brush pens compare to traditional watercolors. She will then use Tombow’s water-based Dual Brush Pens, Fudenosuke pens, Mono Drawing Pens, and blender palette to demonstrate how to create a realistic and detailed portrait of a mouse. Brett will show a variety of techniques including, but are not limited to, how to create depth in a drawing, ways of drawing realistic fur and other details, and how to utilize a watercolour palette to blend, lighten and soften colors. This demo will be wonderful for folks wanting to try an alternative to watercolours, those interested in creating realistic animal portraits, or anyone wanting to learn more about the fantastic selection of Tombow art materials carried at Opus Art Supplies.
