Description
Arts in the Garden is a self-guided tour of twelve North Shore garden spaces taking place – rain or shine! – on Saturday & Sunday, May 28 & 29, 2022 from 12–5 pm
Twelve private and public garden spaces will feature musicians providing live music, an array of natural landscapes, and visual artists leading engaging art activities. Visitors are invited to wander through the garden spaces, immersing themselves in nature, enjoying music ranging from jazz to indie-folk, and admiring visual art ranging from paintings to jewellery. There are five special performances scheduled throughout the long weekend, including dance, movement art, and poetry. Arts in the Garden is a celebration of creativity that encourages visitors to explore, be curious, and have fun, while reflecting on their relationship to nature and to the land we’re on.
Browse through the brochure below to explore the wonderful creatives who will be featuring their work in this year’s event, and click through the digital map to plan your visit. You can use our weekend schedule to ensure you catch each of the five special performances!
