Learn how to put your gelli plate collage papers to use with Nadine Mitchell!
What do you do with the big stash of Gelli Plate collage papers you have created? Make things! In addition to collage, several paper projects will be demonstrated; a single sheet folded book, envelopes, containers, and more! Several items will be made during this demo, with others on display. These projects will get your hands moving and making things using your Gelli Plate collage papers. This demo will begin with a brief instruction on how to use a Gelli Plate for those who are new to this technique.

With a background in Visual Merchandising + Window Display, my creative journey has been varied. My love of collage came from experimenting with several mediums over the decades. Within this genre, I have found there are wide parameters for exploration and play, overlapping with many mediums. A love of paper, mark making, contrast and texture are important elements in my work, influenced by simplicity and seeking beauty in the ordinary.
