Arts Rising Festival 2021: Handmade Paper Pulp-Painted Journal Workshop with Alice from Harmony Paper & Art

Join Alice Strohmaier in this two-part workshop.
Part 1 – Using a deckle box, we create a cover with recycled and cotton paper pulps, adding coloured paper pulp and plant inclusions to ‘paint’ a picture on the cover.
Part 2 – We add embellishments and bind the cover into a 30-page journal with EarthChoice© paper inside.
This workshop is in-person in the Community Art Room at the Leir House Cultural Centre, 220 Manor Park Ave., Penticton.
It will be held over 2 days: Thursday September 23th at 10:00 am & Sunday September 26 at 2:00 pm.
