Janice will bring many different card designs to help you learn how to make hand-painted cards with watercolours for the special people in your life! She will demonstrate simple designs: realistic, expressionistic and whimsical while incorporating many watercolour techniques.
The focus of the demo is on how to create your own personalized watercolour greeting cards. You will learn about the beauty of simplicity as well as learning many different watercolour techniques. Janice will also give multiple methods for fixing problems or mistakes!
Janice Keirstead Hennig has been a professional artist for the past 25 years and art teacher who paints with bold colors in many styles, often described as expressionistic realism. Although Janice is best known for her watercolors of nature, wildlife, pet portraits and Okanagan scenes, she has recently expanded into acrylics on canvas. Her active lifestyle and exuberance for life brings a fresh, exciting perspective to all her artwork.
