Come and see how seasonal landscapes transform through the use of colour! Pat’s demo will focus on working from a black and white landscape photo to paint a full color watercolor and mixed media painting! Along the way she will explore classic and alternative methods for depicting the textures in the landscape, combining her use of watercolors with oil pastels, wax crayons, gum arabic, masking fluid, acrylic inks and more!

Pat works mainly in her studio using photos she has taken locally and on her travels. She enjoys sketching the landscape and has enjoyed plein air workshops in Italy, France, Portugal and the UK. Although Pat often paints in other mediums, her fascination with watercolours endures and she loves the challenge of working with this beautiful medium. She loves exploring combinations of watercolour with other media.
