Mandy Boursicot will walk you through the techniques for Classical Realism while drawing a French Bulldog Puppy.

Workshop Description:

Mandy will introduce you to Nitram Charcoals, a professional medium used in Classical Realist Ateliers to achieve the finest nuances of fully rendered drawings. While such drawings may take upward of 75 hours, Mandy will demonstrate a much shorter and fun drawing of a French Bulldog Puppy, a much beloved pet, belonging to a close family friend.

The subject of drawings is almost always the focus for the viewer, but the aim here, is to show you how to use this medium in any kind of work, be it long and serious or short and whimsical. Indeed, animals will feature prominently in Mandy’s Opus’ 28 days of practice this month. So follow along, and try this medium with all of Mandy’s tips and techniques
