Color Mixing Bootcamp

Are you tired of mixing mud? Frustrated trying to capture that specific color?

This half-day workshop can help.

You’ll learn basic fundamentals of colour mixing, plus lots of tips and tricks. You’ll take home a simple colour wheel to remember concepts, and greater confidence when you paint. We’ll work in either watercolours or acrylic paints.

Prerequisites

A basic familiarity with watercolors or acrylic paint is recommended.

Suppy List

• sketchbook 9"x12" minimum (paper should be heavy enough to take paint)

• pen or pencil for notetaking

• brush (3/4 inch flat or 8-12 round, your preference)

• palette (your preference)

• absorbent sponge or rag

• I recommend that you bring paints that you have, so you can familiarize yourself with the specific paints in your paintbox. I will supply paint if you don't have any, or any colors you are missing.
