Colour Calibration with Ian De Hoog

March 18, 2022

Description

When: March 18th at 11:00 (PST)

Colour Calibration

“Stop worrying about pigments and start focusing on colour. In this technique takeaway, we will work through the foundation of building a basic colour palette and then explore ways to tune the palette to your artistic voice. We will also discuss mixing, compliment pairings, harmonies and mixing greys. We will also take a look at how I like to assess colour from a reference and apply it to my palette.
Stop using other artists’ palettes and start learning how to create your own, calibrated to you.”

Ian was featured in Opus Visual Podcast • Season 2, Episode 3: Putting Our Vision Into Practice.

In the episode, Ian and our other featured artists share techniques they employ to develop and execute their vision, as well as their thoughts and tips on practicing.
