Join Kelly Ulrich and learn amazing techniques for working with charcoal!
Kelly will be showing off the water solubility of charcoal. Create a rich velvety experience with charcoal by combining brushstrokes and water with your drawing! Plus I have a special technique for creating the most perfect trees by using only one stroke! Come and see how that works. I’m saving the best for last!

Kelly Ulrich has been a lifelong artist and went to Emily Carr College in the early 1980s. Since then she has worked in the graphic arts industry and has taught art to children and adults for the past 20 years. “I believe art is for everybody and not just for the ‘talented’ ones. It’s our birthright to do this. All you need is the will because there is always a way.
