Drawing with Charcoal
September 14, 2023 - November 16, 2023
Charcoal is the drawing medium of choice for artists because it handles with great freedom; from expressive and delicate lines to rich tonal depths. Broaden your knowledge of this often overlooked medium by using different types of paper, exploring contemporary methods of layering, and using different types of fixatives. You will also explore the historical use of charcoal and how it has evolved into a flexible medium for artists today.
