Learn how to initiate, control, and execute a drawing based on the upper body and head with Mark Anthony.
“Drawing, in the grand tradition, stands on its own as a great academic, historical and creative study that merits our attention, and is one that can reward the passionate, creative individual for a lifetime.” – Mark Anthony. There is nothing accidental about a good drawing from life. To compliment the weekly life drawing workshops at this location, Mark Anthony presents a two part demo series on how to initiate, control and execute a drawing based on the draped figure and the head. You will learn the difference between copying and interpreting what you see based on foundation principles. Demos will begin from a blank paper.
