Join Peri-Laine Nilan and learn the basics of pattern drawing with different mediums and tools to create one of a kind art cards!
In this hands-on workshop, participants will first practice some basic decorative pattern drawing using various drawing and colouring tools such as coloured pencils and felt tip pens, which can then be combined with creative doodling to make unique, one of a kind art cards. Add shading and colour to enhance the images you create. Suitable for all skill levels. All supplies included.

Peri-Laine began formal art study in Mexico, completing her BA as an Art major at Berkeley, California. She went on to complete her Art Education training at UBC, and a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Arts Education from SFU. Peri-Laine is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, the BC Art Teachers Association, and the New West Artists group.
Peri-Laine is a retired teacher and Art specialist, who has taught art to children and adults in both the public and private sector for many years. She has presented art workshops at conferences, teaches classes in a variety of mediums in her local community, while continuing to work in her home studio.
