Create your own beautiful forest interior with Donna Ion!
From photo to impressionistic painting, Donna will demonstrate how she creates her enchanting forestscapes. Through traditional techniques of underpainting, negative space painting and pointillism attendees will realize that painting can be more than a nice image and capture the feeling of standing in a forest. Painting techniques Donna will be using golden acrylics, wet palettes, brushes and canvas to create negative space painting and pointillism in an impressionistic style.

Donna is a mostly self taught painter who started painting about 12 years ago. She has taken courses from time to time with local artists whose work she admired. Donna has had three shows at the Eclectic Gallery in Oak Bay, and continues to show there. Her works are also in the rental program at the AGGV. Her webpage is donnaionart.com
