Learn about glazing with Jan Crawford!

Using a variety of Golden Acrylic Mediums, Jan will demonstrate how to glaze your acrylic paintings in a few different methods, allowing you to experiment with the techniques in your work. Attendants will also learn about preparing your surface for painting, mixing colours, what brushes to use, and more! This demonstration is great for those that are at an intermediate or advanced level.

Jan Crawford was born in Vancouver but moved to Penticton where she was raised on an orchard setting. She holds a B.ED art major from the University of B.C., a printmaking major from Emily Carr University, and an AFCA signature status from the Federation of Canadian Artists. Jan spent twenty years at Malaspina as a printmaker, and now works in acrylics. Crawford’s work can be seen across Canada, including the Vancouver International Airport, as well as private collections. Crawford’s work was recently featured in Galleries West Magazine (Summer edition 2016) under “Artists to Collect.”
