Come say hello to illustration artist Alicia Neal as she walks you through her creative process of bringing illustrations to life using Winsor & Newton Gum Arabic and PearlEx Pigments!
This demonstration will cover pigment mixing ratios, how to work your sketch into your final design, and illustrative techniques to breathe life into your work.
Materials List:
Winsor and Newton Gum Arabic (2.5oz bottle)
PearlEx Pigments in Spring Green, Magenta, True Blue, and Aztec Gold
Blackwing Pencils in 602 and Natural
Micron pens range 02, 03, 05, BR, and 1.
Artistico Paper Block in Cold Pressed, 140lb/300g/m

Alicia is a self-trained artist from North Vancouver who specializes in digital art, graphic design, children’s book illustrations, and character art. Her expertise is in digital art, but she also works primarily with ink, graphite, oil pastels, and watercolour.
