Always wondered about cold wax and oil paintings? Lisa Hewitt will answer all questions you have and introduce you into the beautiful medium!
Join Lisa Hewitt as she gives you an introduction to cold wax and oil painting. You will learn the materials used and how to apply them, set up of the wax and acrylic paints with the wax. Initial layers will be applied on both the cradle board and oil paper. You will leave with the basics of the cold wax and oil process and techniques for layering, scraping, and mounting a finished product onto a board.

Lisa Hewitt is a local artist whose work sells internationally. Her work is mainly abstract and she works in multimedia. Acrylic, ink, watercolour, cold wax and oil.
