Learn techniques for life drawing with Sandrine Pelissier!

If you are not familiar with life drawing and are curious about it, this is the workshop for you. You will have an opportunity to try your hand at life drawing in a supportive and fun environment. There will be easels and a clothed live model with Sandrine explaining how life drawing classes usually work. We will start with quick gesture drawings, and then the poses will gradually get longer. Sandrine will show you techniques that make gesture drawing fun while you are warming up. Opus North Vancouver will provide: Newprint paper pads, graphite and erasers, charcoal, and easels. The cost of the workshop will also cover the cost of the model.

Space is limited and registration is required.
Please visit Opus North Vancouver or contact them at 604‑904‑0447 to register.

For the last 5 years, Sandrine Pelissier (sandrinepelissier.com) has been one of the co-organizer of a weekly life drawing class in her studio (lifedrawing.ca). In her figurative works, she is celebrating the true beauty and diversity of real women bodies of all ages and shapes. She works from drawings made in life drawing classes with inspiring and diverse models, experimenting with drawing, linoprinting and painting.
