Marvelous, fun, luminescent paint. Let’s dive into the creative process and abstract painting using acrylic paint while discussing and working through common stumbling blocks.
Ever wondered how to start an abstract painting? What to do when you don’t know what to do next? How to translate your inspirations, memories, and the world around you into abstract mark making? This demo will be a mix of discussion, demonstration, and plenty of opportunities for questions. You will learn how building your skills and deepening your understanding of your medium (paint, brushes, surfaces, etc) can allow for more freedom in the work. You will take away tips and exercise ideas to help nurture your own artistic voice. Come, get inspired and realize that curiosity is the flip side of frustration.
