Mapping with Thread
December 02, 2023
$185
Description
You will explore three fibre techniques while using the theme of mapping. These include basic hand sewing, using thread to create structure on dissolvable fabric, and using scissors to remove parts of a patterned fabric to make a new surface. You will learn these methods through the creation of samplers with contemporary fibre art maps as a source of inspiration. Suitable for all levels. Some supplies included, see supply list.
