Join multidisciplinary artist Susan Rostow for this hour and a half mono-printing demo. Demonstration includes creating a collagraph plate with Akua Carborundum Gel. Printing the plate with Akua Intaglio ink using monotype techniques.

Artist Bio
Susan Rostow is a Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary artist, who incorporates printmaking with sculptural books and animation to reimagine our world. In addition to Rostow’s active career as an artist, she is an innovative inventor of printmaking methods and materials. She is the creator of Akua inks and has made a major contribution to the practice of safer printmaking by developing and teaching printmaking methods without the use of hazardous materials all over the world. In 2012, Speedball Art Products acquired the Akua brand and Susan joined the Speedball team, creating new products and producing instructional videos for the Akua Printshop YouTube Channel .
