About Erica:
My name is Erica Hawkes, I am a gallery artist currently residing in the beautiful Okanagan with my husband and two kids. I grew up in Northern BC, Canada, so nature in all its glory was a good fit for me. I have worked in a variety of mediums and a variety of venues as an artist – photography, portraits, teaching and book illustration to name a few. I studied and earned a degree in fashion designing but my heart was always with sketching, painting and colors. I became a gallery artist in 2011 when Martina at Tutt st. Gallery saw my potential and gave me a chance! Thanks Martina. It has been an amazing adventure and I am so blessed to paint for a living.
