Oil Painting Techniques in Contemporary Landscape Painting will introduce you to various oil painting techniques and how to apply them to landscape painting. Traditional techniques such as wet on wet, dry brush, and palette knife will be demonstrated, in addition to more playful and contemporary techniques. Mediums, brushes, surfaces, and unexpected tools will also be explored!
Kate lives and creates in Victoria, British Columbia. Her work is influenced by the nature-filled mystical landscapes of the Pacific Northwest Coast and its inhabitants. Kate is currently studying at the University of Victoria to become an art teacher so she can share her love of creating and observing visual art with others.
