December 17, 2021
Description
When: Dec 17th at 11:00 am (PST)
Onesies & Watercolours for the Holidays
A relaxed and playful exploration of colour, subject and mediums that will be sure to kick start your creative juices over the holidays.
Spot illustrations suitable for cards are the focus here. Using watercolours as the base and introducing other mediums such as collage, acrylics, gold pen and a bit of stitchery.
Material List:
Watercolour Paper (my personal favourites are handmade DominionΒ or torn sheets and the smooth Stonehenge Hotpress)
Scrap paper for sketching
Watercolours (Vangogh are my current first pick)
Embroidery threads and a needle

Rose Cowles is a Governor General Award nominated artist. Her interdisciplinary specialties include illustration for books and magazines, logo design and fine art out of her studio’s both at home and in the Rock Bay Square in Victoria, BC.
If you were to ask Rose what she is all about she would tell you that she is in the business of simple pleasures that provide the viewer with brief and positive experiences that are accessible to most people at little or no cost. She wishes to be an inspiration for those that need it and alternatively a “kick in the ass” reminder to those that wish to do better.
