Join Opus staff member Emily Jayne May Myatt as she shows off techniques for using the new Liquitex Acrylic Gouache!
Join Emily Jayne May Myatt as she demonstrates an overview of the performance, benefits and techniques that can be achieved with the new Liquitex Acrylic Gouache. Techniques including surface prep, application, layering and basic colour mixing will be shown. Attendees will learn the basics of using Liquitex Gouache, how to prep surfaces like Opus Exhibition Canvas with Daniel Smith Watercolour Ground. How to do an underpainting with Qor Watercolors to plan out the darks and lights. These techniques can also be used in other mediums!

Emily Jayne May Myatt, 21, just celebrated her one year anniversary working with Opus. She enjoys working in a variety of mediums including; Ink, Acrylic, Watercolor, Gouache, and Oil.
Her work primarily focuses on figuration and narrative.
