Description
When: May 15th @ 11am
Painting Impactful Reflections with Michael King
Join painter and educator Michael King for a selection of fundamental principles for painting reflections in water using oil paints. This demo will show how to look at water on location, or in a photograph, to determine where to start and how to end when painting reflections. Michael encourages notes that when an artist knows what to look for, the process of painting reflections is simple and rewarding. Key aspects of Michael’s demo will include controlling values and shifting colour temperature. Though this demo will be in oil paint, the theories behind painting reflections are applicable to, and very helpful for, use in all coloured paint mediums! Perfect for anyone looking to boost their knowledge of painting reflections in water; beginners and experienced painters alike!
